Pot Update

I have been doing the pot every morning. It realy clears out the sinuses. I have been on it now for 2 weeks and have been healthy ever since. The main thing I notice is in the morning when I wake up. I sleep under the heating vent and the dry air blowing on me all night really stuffed me up. Now I wake up every morning clear. Neti Pot? Could be. I think it is. I will keep you updated on the lack of colds. I also find that I am sleeping through the night much better now and waking up refreshed. Apparently breathing is important when you sleep. Go figure.

Oh Oh

Mommy got a call from Lexi's teacher the other morning. Lexi was almost in tears. She went to school in her pajama top and was very upset. So Lisa got to get the boys ready and bring them all in to get Lexi the shirt that was set out. She told me she was playing house with Kelsey when she noticed and Kelsey was telling people. She was pretty embaressed.
So tell me who hasn't gone to work or school with their PJ's on.

The Big Show

Iowa Cubs Fest 2008. Yah! I have been getting ready for the show for 6 weeks. I have 35 pitures/frames ready to go. I sold a total of ....3. WAH!!!! Everyone said oh cool, nice, great idea. Nobody bought them though. I sold a Kirby Puckett with the crappiest POS frame I had and 2 blank ones. I sold quite a few cards and a few magazines. So all in all the show cost me like 20 bucks and I got a Tony Gwynn and Mike Schmidt balls, a Bob Feller Autograph pic and 2 cut sigs from Robin Roberts and Fergie Jenkins. Eric got me the last 2. He went up the the guys after they were done signing and asked them and they signed for him. Cool. They were charging 25 bucks each and he got them for free. I gave him 5 bucks for getting them for me.
Nick and Eric went nuts buying cards both days. They both spent about 25 bucks, but got a lot of GREAT cards. We got loaded up and out of there by 3:30 and home by 7. I had to listen to the Packers destoy the Seahawks on crappy AM radio. I turned it off after the first 3 minutes, but that only lasted about 5 minutes and I had to put it back on. Glad I did.
Now I need to find a way to get rid of about 25 framed pics I have. I told Lisa that she can sell them and the grab bags at her flea markets. We will see. I like them so I told Lisa I am putting them all up in the house. Every wall in the house will have 2 sports pictures on them.
When we got home, me and Lisa raced downstairs to see the kids. We got BIG hugs from them all. I guess Lexi, the oldest one, cried last night at bedtime. The 2 Z's were ok. We got lots of hugs all night. Thank you ASHLEY for watching the kids. I hope Tyler likes the jerkey, and you like your stockpile take.:-)

This is Eric and Nick with 3000 hit man and HOF'er TONY GWYNN. WOW.

This is Ferguson Jenkins. Eric took this picture after he asked him for a free autograph. He had the coolest voice ever.

This is Nick (in case you did not know) with the FAMOUS CHICKEN. This is the actual San Diego chicken. The most famous chicken EVER!!!

This is Robin Roberts. Eric calls him old guy.

Here is a picture of Tommie Frazier. Remember him Dad? back to back national championship Nebraska Cornhuskers QB.

Here is Nick handing the ball to Mike Schmidt.

The motel had an awesome workout room. This is Phil running a 5 minutes mile. Yes I smile when I run.

Thursday night

At about 6PM I was cleaning my teeth after supper. I have a space between two teeth where my crown is and it popped right out. Nice, the day before we go to Iowa for the show I lose a tooth. Nice and sharp, tongue going over there all the time. About a half hour later I went to the bathroom and was able to pop it back in. I hope it stays for the weekend anyway.

Snow day

Our alarm clock did not go off today. When Lisa finally got up after a profanity laced tirade, at 7:40, she went upstairs and asked Nick what time he got up and why he did not get her up. Half hour ago. He thought it would be a snow day. :-) We got about a 1/2 inch of snow. Wishfull thinking Nick.
